Hodessa

I took a nice little visit to Midland to visit my sister, her husband and her three-year-old twins. I do NOT recommend going to the Odessa Mall. The only two name brands stores there are Dillards and Express. Everything else is a knock off store with names like M-Lo (like J-Lo I suppose) with hoochie-mama clothes.  Just look at this manikin's pose! Yeesh!
The entire mall is carpeted. What well traveled floor is carpeted? But, there is a merry-go-round and a play area for kids.
I know why friends have told me it is called "Ho-dessa."
